After suffering the heartbreaking loss of her child through a late miscarriage, she was met with not only the overwhelming grief of her loss but also mistreatment and neglect by the very healthcare system she trusted. Her experience, unfortunately, is not unique. Many women, especially in underserved communities like Baltimore, face poor care and lack of support in their most vulnerable moments.
