“Story telling by mothers; pregnancy journey during Covid19 pandemic and after” in Brooklyn and Curtis Bay, where we have to double our efforts to get in contact with the population in order to build a trustworthy relationship with the community. We know it is crucial to understand the daily life of these mothers in this forgotten area. We also think that storytelling could help support mental health, empower mothers, as well as bring healing into the community while helping us better understand the challenges mothers are facing daily and how to continue to work efficiently and effectively with them in the future.”
